Requirements for Therapists Who List Their Details
To promote professional standards within the NZ and global EFT community, the EFT therapists who are listed on this website will have met the following conditions:
Be a signed-up member of the ICEEFT (International Center for Excellence in Emotionally Focused Therapy) – this is either an annual or life-time membership. (This Centre was founded in 1998 by Dr Sue Johnson and her colleagues and it co-ordinates the development and spread of EFT around the world. It works closely with its varied affiliated EFT Centres and communities).
Have completed a recognised level of training with an ICEEFT certified trainer – and these levels align directly with ICEEFT standards.
Have paid an annual subscription fee – as part of supporting the website, and contributing to building the local EFT community.
